Where Art Thou, Mario?

I haven’t played any videogames in forever. That’s probably what’s been affected the most by having Griffin — I just don’t have much in the way of free time, and lately I’ve been focused on programming. I’d like to game more, but normally I might have at most 10 minutes to play before I’d have to pause to change a diaper/roll him over/clean up vomit. I feel kind of bad about buying the PS2 network adapter, because I only played NFL2k3 online about 4 times. Before that I got maybe 40% into GTA:Vice City, and about 70% through Warcraft III, but I haven’t played any of them in about a month. Hopefully the boy will be able to pick up a controller soon so we can do some bonding by trying to kill each other’s avatar.

House Hunting

We visited a house today that looked really, really cool. Hardwood floors all over the place, 2 big bedrooms, 3 full baths, and a finished basement. Within our price range (although close to the top), and being sold by the owner. It’ll probably go fast, so we’ll need to make a decision fairly quickly about whether we want to pursue it or not. It’s kinda scary to talk about laying out this kind of cash, but all the initial talks with mortgage folks have been really positive. Apparenlty I have good credit still. Who woulda thunkit!

LameBrain 0.4.1

Uploaded a new version that fixes a couple bugs with FreeDB, and allows the user to choose from multiple FreeDB results (previously it would just pick the first one).

Life is busy

Sorry for the infrequency of posts lately. KC and I are trying to buy a house so the little tyke has some more room to grow, and work has been very, very busy. I promise I’ll get back into it soon.
